It’s hard to believe but this domain, takabe.ca has been around for nearly 30 years. It started off as a sandbox to study html coding until I realized I could use it to host pictures and trip reports from my adventures.

Since then, the pages have evolved along with my changing interests.

While the earliest version was whipped up using a text editor, the latest finally uses a proper CMS (Content Management System) which is perfect for cataloging trip reports.

Now that I’m older and wiser, the activities will mostly revolve around canoe camping and backpacking. No more ice climbing or multi pitch trad climbing for me.
