I started this site almost 30 years ago as a way to learn HTML, until I realized I could use it to share pictures and trip reports from some of my adventures.
Back then, my posts revolved around skiing, scrambling, trad/ice climbing and mountain biking.
Now that I’m older and (slightly) wiser, my activities have taken on a more relaxed rhythm: backpacking, cross country skiing and my biggest passion – canoe camping
Here you’ll find my notes, photos and reflections from the trail and water. Think of it as a logbook, a memory bank, and maybe even a bit of inspiration for your own adventures.
Oh, in case you’re wondering, the site logo is my family crest, which has been passed on for many generations.
