A New Beginning

After being dogless for almost 6 months, I finally decided to end that drought and adopt a new puppy! My late dog, Hana was supposed to be an emotional support dog for my elderly mother but things backfired when she passed away so early – causing emotional grief instead of support.

My new dog is named Momo, which means peach in Japanese. A fruit that signifies the spring and a new beginning. She is a pure mini poodle and is expected to reach close to 19lbs when fully grown.

My mother is of course ecstatic and seems to be healing. Which is wonderful. But I told her that I can’t be held responsible if Momo somehow found herself in the back of my Jeep during my canoe camping trips this summer.
