It’s hard to believe that this takabe.ca domain has been around for over 20 years. It started with a simple page which was created using Norton Editor and has evolved over the years as my interests have changed. It’s covered everything from backpacking trips to alpine climbs to my quest to find the tastiest spicy tuna rolls in the city.

This latest reincarnation serves to document my trips going forward. Of course now that I’m 20 years older since I first started documenting my adventures, my reports will probably go from remote trips in the backcountry to canoe paddles on a local pond.

Here’s to hoping that this site will be the last! I’m getting too old to re-learn new web development tools!
